The Job

The Associate Director – Data and Analytics will work with the Digital Operations and Paid Media teams to oversee digital reporting and implementation. This individual will lean heavily in guiding the Digital Operations team to develop and enhance the technology stack and reporting suite, analyze data across multiple channels and report on digital marketing campaign performance for our clients. This role is responsible for ensuring the team provides clear, concise, and insightful findings across campaigns. The Job

The Senior SEO Manager will help define and build Backbone Media’s SEO service offering in collaboration with the VP of Digital Media and the Digital Director. The Senior SEO Manager will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive SEO strategies from a content, web, and technology perspective to ensure Backbone drives organic performance that supports top-of-funnel lead acquisition for our clients. The Work

· Partner with the VP Of Digital Media and Digital Director to define and develop Backbone Media’s SEO service offering.

The Job

We’re looking for an experienced PR Account Manager (AM) or PR Senior Account Manager (SAM) to work with our growing portfolio of active lifestyle brands. The AM or the SAM serves as the primary client contact, developing and executing the PR strategy for 3-4 clients. This position reports to the VP Public Relations and the PR Directors. The SAM works with larger clients managing a PR team.

The ideal PR AM or SAM has proven PR and/or marketing experience. S(he) possesses a strong desire to join and be a leader at a best-in-class agency.


The Work

  • Develop and execute strategic PR plans that deliver on client goals
  • Comprehensive, effective account management – organizing regular client communications, meetings and reporting

The Job
As the Affiliate Manager, you will be responsible for developing the partnership and strategy with publishers, influencers, and traditional affiliate sites to drive placements, revenue, and exposure for Backbone clients. This position will collaborate with Media and PR teams to develop, align, and execute plans to increase awareness and achieve the client's traffic and revenue goals.

The Job

The SEM Manager will be responsible for the strategy, execution and optimization of paid media marketing strategies on behalf of Backbone’s clients. They will partner with Backbone’s media and digital operations teams to develop innovative paid search strategies and lead the planning, execution and optimization of these programs.

The position requires the ability to apply detailed knowledge and expertise to actionable insights and recommendations. The successful candidate will have experience managing mid-to-large accounts, either for an agency or in-house, as well as the skills and enthusiasm necessary to be a part of an amazing team.


The Work

  • Establish strategy and implement, optimize, and manage budgets for paid search, shopping, display, and YouTube campaigns for direct response retail and tourism
  • Develop advanced keyword campaigns and efficient direct response programs for any given client initiative
  • Deliver integrated paid search media campaigns with an appreciation for other online and offline channels
  • Ensure all paid search campaign billings are up to date and all finance queries are followed up in a timely manner
  • Analyze paid search campaign performance against client KPI's and report on trends and insights to key stakeholders
  • Support in any new business pitches and related work as required
  • Train/educate other Backbone media planners and coordinators and strategies, techniques and trends in paid search

The Account Coordinator (AC) supports the account management team, executing the tactical elements and reporting on the outcomes of our clients' PR campaigns. The AC reports directly to an Account Manager. The AC works closely with Backbone’s paid media team to facilitate integrated communications campaigns. While our team is working remotely right now, when we do return to our offices, this position will be in our Carbondale office.
