Position: Accounting Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Operations

Job Description: The Accounting Coordinator has at least three years of bookkeeping experience. The position will be responsible for overseeing the agency’s financial transactions and reporting. Responsibilities include posting transactions to accounting journals, managing client and vendor invoices, and handling cash receipts. The position also reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy.

 Primary Duties:

  • Pay supplier invoices in a timely manner
  • Work with Media Department to pay media vendors upon payment by client
  • Issue invoices to customers
  • Ensure that receivables are collected promptly
  • Record cash receipts and make bank deposits
  • Conduct a monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Maintain annual budgets
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested

 Job Specifications/Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in accounting or business administration
  • At least three years of bookkeeping or similar experience
  • Experience with Quickbooks, Microsoft Office suite
